Welcome to [Web Macro Bot] App!

  • Web Macro Bot helps you record webpage events, and replay it automatically later on. Once macro is setup, you can run multiple web pages at the same time.

Icon Legend

icon designDesign Mode | record - edit - replay

How to setup and record macro

  • Fill in the Web Url
  • Use [Browser] icon to open the page
  • Wait for the page to load fully
  • Click [Camera] icon to start macro recording
  • Once started ('Ready' message appear), you can use mouse and keyboard to do anything you need
  • Use [Stop] icon to finish recording
  • Optionally, you can edit each event to adjust time delay using [Pen] icon

How to play macro

  • Click [Replay] icon to run macro in foreground
  • Use [Reset] icon to open/reset the initial url
  • Optionally, disable scroll merge to replay scroll slowly [Tools] icon

Run macro in background

Due to mobile device's battery limitation, here are some helpful Settings
  • Power saving mode
  • Battery optimization settings
  • Other battery management apps
  • Screen lock/ display settings
  • Lock Apps, tap [lock] icon on the title bar of app window

Tips & Steps

Android
  • Run macro in background function is in [Summary] tab
  • Open your macro, set the interval, the repeat counter and push the [Replay] icon
  • Our logo will appear (small and movable)

  • You can run multiple macros in background
  • Interval (minute): more than 1 minutes as interval is recommended
  • Repeat counter 0 = infinite repetitions

  • Connecting phone with USB charging cable is recommended
  • Option A- phone is connected to USB charging cable. Macro always runs when app is open (background / foreground / screens off)
  • Option B- phone is not connected to USB. Macro runs when app is in foreground
  • Option C- phone is not connected to USB. Macro runs when app is in background (with overlay float icon). Click [Tool] icon to grant permission. Settings - App - Find this app - Enable [Apps that can appear on top]

Windows Version
  • Macro always run as long as Windows App is not closed

iOS Version
  • Macro only runs when app is in foreground and screen is kept on

Macro Export / Import

  • With the export function you get your macro as a .json script
  • The export function can be found in your macro under the Web URL and the export path / location in the settings
  • Export all macros to one file as backup is possible with the export button in settings
  • Import macros with the import button in the settings

Save Log to file txt and csv

  • Replayed recordings are logged.
  • Export path / location in the settings
  • Use [Log] icon on bottom right corner of your macro to open.
  • Export to file is available in txt and csv.

Multi page mode

  • Enable/disable Multi View in your macro [Tools] icon.
  • Use [Multi] icon on the macro list page to run multiple macros at the same time.
  • Use [Page] button to switch the pages.

Download option for samples and files

  • Samples for download in app menu and website
  • File download in Design Mode and Webview Mode
  • Download path / location is shown in the settings

Tweet Bot

  • Record your tweet
  • Edit it for the next tweet and set interval
  • Copy the macro and prepare future tweets

JavaScript change website content

  • Record your macro
  • Add or edit a step SCRIPT
  • Run the macro

  • Adhoc JavaScript window in Webview Mode

Auto Scroll with speed adjustment

  • open Webview Mode
  • adjust speed with [Tools] icon
  • press [Scroll] in Action field
  • switch to full screen view

  • Auto Scroll Webview Mode uses its own settings [tool] icon
  • Manual recorded scrolling in Design Mode can be set by editing the time interval and the "Merge Scroll" option

Auto Play in Webview Mode

  • Enable 'Auto Play' in Macro Options
  • Open Webview from your Macro or from Macro List
  • Auto Play your Macro in Webview Mode

Shortcut and Auto Play to Quick Launch

  • Enable Auto Play in Macro Options
  • Use [3dots] icon in Macro List to create Shortcut
  • Use the Shortcut and Auto Play to Quick Launch your Macro

  • Android allows 1 Shortcut

  • Microsoft : Right Click Web Macro Bot App to see Shortcut

Show Source Code of website

  • open Webview Mode
  • use [Code] icon to show Source Code of website

Bug reporting

  • You got error message replaying ?
